If you haven’t done so, the War Diaries can make interesting reading. Your grandfather joined the 127 mid-Feb 1945 the day before the 127 boat was transferred to Ron 12.
This is my grandfather, I’d love to hear any stories about him that any would care to share.
He took his final patrol several in 2010 but will always be in my heart.
